Founded on Washington’s birthday in 1913, Montrose has retained its charming character while serving as the center of local commerce for more than 75,000 residents in the Crescenta-Canada Valley. While a small portion of Montrose is unincorporated, the vast majority lies within the City of Glendale. It is bordered on the north by the Angeles National Forest, the east by La Cañada Flintridge, the south by Glendale, and the northwest by Tujunga.
